Staying fashionably warm during winter can be difficult, especially this year, due to the extreme cold. Recently, I went on a skiing trip to Austria and was amazed by the abundance of snow. It was like being in a Winter Wonderland, which was a delightful experience after not seeing so much snow in a decade.

This year, Munich experienced heavy snowfall, creating a beautiful winter wonderland in the city. Despite its beauty, the cold weather can be challenging to endure. I am eagerly awaiting Spring and warmer days. Sadly, according to the weather forecast, winter isn’t going anywhere. Due to that, today I will share my top secret to keep fashionably warm during winter. Because even though you want to look fabulous, you definitely don’t want to catch the flu or even worse!

When you see my outfit, you will likely think that I am supposed to be freezing. The truth is, the appearance is deceptive! My secret? – In winter, it is all about layering!

Start with the basics and go from the thinnest to the thickest material. Even though I’m not too fond of tights, they are a must-have for winter, and I am always wearing two stockings simultaneously. Therefore, you can even wear a skirt on cold days. Here are two ways to kill it in a skirt this winter!

As for the upper body, I start with a slim fitted basic top. Layover it with a camisole lace satin top for the pretty endings, which looks out, and finish it with a sweater layer. Last, but not least, throw over a chunky knit oversized cardigan and et voilà!

In winter, I always avoid sneakers and wear ankle boots or overknees! Finishing the look with a pretty coat and an oversized scarf, and you are ready to get out of the house fashionably warm during winter. Here are tips on how to style your overknees!
