Meet Our New Co-Author Anna

Hi, I am Anna:) 

I’m an introverted girl who loves summer, all kinds of music genres, spending time with my friends, food and of course traveling. But sadly, I am too broke to make it a hobby of mine.

Ly is like a second sister to me. She has known me since the day I was born. We kind of grew up together because our parents are really good friends. That’s why I’m even more excited to work on this website with her!

I’m not good with introducing myself, that’s why here are three random facts to get to know me better: first, I’m obsessed with Korea. Second I dislike my name Anna, and my family usually call me Lissi, which was supposed to be my name in the first place. And third, my life motto is “Everything happens for a reason”.

My Travel Experiences

Traveling is my escape from real life, and it helped me a lot to grow out of my shell. Throughout the years, I have lived in different places. I lived in America, Korea, Vietnam and, of course, Germany, where I spent most of the time in my life. I just graduated last year and decided to take a gap year to enjoy my youth. If I had to describe myself, I would say I am a reliable, honest and hardworking girl who is lost in this big world and still trying to figure out what I want in life. And, of course, I’m definitely more German than Vietnamese. That is also the reason why I decided to spend most of my gap year in Asia. I wanted to get closer to my roots and get to know my own culture more. 

This is why I wanted to share some of my experiences and my advice on traveling abroad! 

I want to motivate other people with my articles to go traveling, furthermore to go solo traveling. Even though a lot of people say “it’s too expensive!”, trust me, spending money to see a new part of the world is NEVER a waste of money!
