The Reason Why You Shouldn’t Be Afraid Of Failure!
There is a saying that goes, “If you never failed, you have never lived.” However, many people, including myself, are afraid of failure. It used to be one of my worst fears. Leading me to struggle with the outcomes of my actions and their potential negative impact on my future.
I frequently attended parties in high school, and my academic performance was not at its best. Due to that, I almost got flunked out. I still remember those days and nights when I was crying because my results weren’t good enough to study the subject I was studying. Looking back a few years ago, I realise my previous failure benefited me. I am now grateful for these experiences because they helped shape me into who I am today.
It was a painful experience, and I cried a lot whenever I failed something. Still, those unpleasant experiences and feelings helped me to do better in the future and to avoid similar mistakes.
The truth is that everyone has failed, and everyone will fail again! When people are successful, we focus on their success because they are people we look up to. We often forget that successful people have struggled and failed as well. They just didn’t stop after it but instead stood up and tried again and again.
While we only see the bright side of life, the years of hard work and failure are the most inspiring and motivational stories, such as Steve Jobs and Walt Disney.
After so many years of struggling, I learned there is no reason to be afraid of failure because if we don’t learn to move out of our comfort zone, we will never overcome our fear of failure. Life begins at the end of our comfort zone! So as you can see, failure is not a step backwards; it is an excellent stepping stone to success because it is an essential part of our journey.
There are still so many things to learn, and the most valuable lessons we do know from our own mistakes. So “don’t worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.” (Jack Canfield)
I realised I had to let go of the fear of failure because it always held me back, and I could deal with disappointments better. Of course, it is still painful, but you will get resilient, and with this ability, you can bounce back quickly and keep going! I believe that my dreams will come true with failure, persistence, and dedication to my goals!
All in all, from failure, you will gain valuable experiences and knowledge. You will get more resilient and will grow due to that. So don’t be too hard on yourself. Just try your best and never give up! After all, without failure, how sweet would success be?
All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them!

Ich denke auch, dass man aus Fehlern und Misserfolgen lernen kann (und sollte), aber in Deutschland herrscht leider immer noch eine Kultur, in der Fehler nicht gern gesehen sind und als Makel gelten :/
