Casual Chic in Paris | THE DAILY HAPPINESS

Casual Chic in Paris

A few days ago I got an interesting question. A friend of mine told me that she is trying to find her style and wanted to know what my style is.

After thinking about it, I actually could not give her an answer to that question. There is no specific style because I am mixing it all together and I am still trying out a lot of new fashion as well. It also depends a lot on my mood and feelings what outfit I am choosing.

Like music and art, there is also a great  way to express yourself through fashion.

Sometimes I am in a mood for a girly outfit with a short skirt, and overknees. The next day it can be something more elegant like a maxi dress with high heels and the following week it maybe will be an outfit with an edgy touch expressed through a ripped jeans and a biker leather jacket.

I actually don’t have a specific style. It is a combination of everything, but I always add a little bit of chicness to my outfits, for an effortlessly chic look.

Now, this is really just a casual outfit with a ripped skinny jeans and a blouse. I always combine my jeans outfits with a blouse because that will automatically give you more a chic look. If the items I choose are so simple like these, then a pretty jacket has to be added.

Obviously, I don’t have to special mention that heels always give you a more powerful and fashionable impression. (You can compare this outfit combined with heels and boots below.)

As I already mentioned in my previous posts, I am always in a happy mood when I am in Paris. So on that occasion, I wanted to wear a casual outfit (Read here how to wear a t-shirt and still looking stylish!) on that day because we were just strolling through Paris, but still, it had to express my happy feelings. In fact of that, I chose clothes, which are only merely chic and casual, and a colourful blouse which was representing my happy mood.

How about you? How would you describe your style?
